๐ Given for iPhone
Log cash gifts, donated goods at fair-market value, and charitable miles as you give. Get one clean year-end PDF for your preparer or TurboTax. Private, offline, no account.
Intuit retired ItsDeductible in October 2025, and a lot of people lost the one place they logged bags of clothes and the occasional coffee table. Given is the iPhone version of that habit: pick the charity, tap items from a value guide to build a fair-market total, snap the receipt, and move on. In April you export the year and you're done.
Starting with 2026 returns (filed in early 2027), cash gifts to qualifying charities can be deducted by non-itemizers, up to $1,000 for single filers and $2,000 for married couples filing jointly. That makes a simple, dated record of cash gifts worth keeping for far more households than before. Goods and mileage still require itemizing, and itemizers now face a 0.5% of AGI floor. Given keeps cash, goods, and mileage totaled separately so the numbers are ready whichever way you file.
Summary for convenience, not tax advice. See IRS Publication 526 or your preparer for how these rules apply to you.
What replaced ItsDeductible?
Intuit discontinued it in October 2025. Given covers the record-keeping part on iPhone: donations by charity and year, a value guide for goods, and a year-end PDF and CSV you can hand to a preparer or type into tax software.
How do I value clothes and household items?
At fair-market value: what a thrift store would charge today. Items must be in at least good used condition. The value guide gives typical ranges; you adjust for brand and condition.
When do I need Form 8283?
When noncash donations for the year total more than $500. A single item at $5,000 or more generally needs an appraisal. Given flags both.
Is it free?
Your first 10 donations are free. Given Pro unlocks unlimited donations, the year-end PDF, CSV export, up to 6 photos per donation, and Face ID lock, as a Yearly subscription or a one-time Lifetime purchase.
