Hearth: Homeschool Tracker is an attendance, hours, and portfolio log for homeschooling families on iPhone. Log each lesson, watch your days and hours fill up against your state's target, and export an attendance log or portfolio PDF when someone asks for records.
Tap the + button on the Log tab. Start the lesson timer when you begin and stop it when you wrap up — or type the hours in directly (1.5 works fine). Pick a subject, jot what you covered, and optionally snap a photo of the work. Any day with at least one entry counts as a school day.
Settings → Your state. Hearth fills in the days and hours from that state's published rules where a statewide number exists. You can override either number at any time, which is what to do if your evaluator, umbrella school, or district expects something different.
Yes. Settings → Add student. Use the chips at the top of the Log and Records tabs to switch between students or see everyone together.
Records tab → Create attendance PDF or Create portfolio PDF. The attendance log has one row per school day with hours and subjects, totals against your target, hours by subject, and a parent certification block with a signature line. The portfolio lists every lesson with notes and work-sample photos. Both exports are part of Hearth Pro.
Settings → School year. Totals and reports cover the current school year; July is the default start month, and you can change it.
Settings → Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple Account you bought Hearth Pro with.
Everything stays on your iPhone. There is no account, no cloud, and no tracking. See the privacy policy.
