Swirl is built so that your wine tasting journal is nobody's business but yours.
Your wines, ratings, tasting notes, label photos, producers, regions, prices, and everything else you log are stored only on your device, in the app's private storage. They are never uploaded, synced, or transmitted anywhere by Swirl. There are no accounts and no analytics or advertising SDKs.
If you buy Swirl Pro, the purchase is processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat solely to validate purchases and restore them; RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier and purchase history, never your journal data. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for details.
Camera and photo-library access are used only to attach photos of wine labels to your tasting entries. Images are stored on-device only.
Settings → Delete all wines & photos erases everything instantly. Deleting the app does the same.
