OneLine is a private journal. Privacy isn't a feature we added — it's the way the app is built.
Every line you write is stored locally on your iPhone, in the app's private storage. We have no servers. We have no accounts. Your entries are never uploaded, synced, analyzed, or read by us or anyone else. If you export your journal, the export goes only where you choose to send it.
We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, or any of your journal content. We do not use advertising trackers or sell any data, because there is no data to sell.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. To make purchases work (unlocking Pro on your devices, restoring purchases), our payment infrastructure provider, RevenueCat, processes an anonymous random identifier and your purchase history. This identifier is not linked to your name or journal. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
If you enable the daily reminder, the notification is scheduled entirely on your device. No notification data leaves your phone.
If you enable the journal lock, Face ID authentication is handled by iOS. The app only receives a yes/no answer — never your biometric data.
Deleting the app deletes your journal. You can also erase all entries any time from Settings → Danger zone.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date above.
