Attendance Tracker: Check In — Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 23, 2026

Attendance Tracker: Check In ("the app") is an attendance and roll-call app for iPhone, made by Brian Kershner. It is designed so that your data stays on your device.

What we collect: almost nothing

Your groups, rosters, session dates, attendance marks, notes, and any names you enter are stored only in the app's local database on your iPhone. It is never uploaded, synced, or transmitted to us or anyone else. The app works fully offline and has no account system. The app does not use GPS and does not track anyone's location.

Purchases

If you buy Pro, the purchase is processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat, a purchase-management service, to validate purchases. RevenueCat receives a random anonymous identifier and your purchase history for this app, never your name, contacts, or rosters. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Analytics and tracking

The app contains no analytics SDKs, no ads, and no tracking. We do not collect usage data.

Exports

PDF and CSV exports are created on your device and shared only where you choose to send them (print, email, AirDrop, etc.).

Face ID

If you enable the app lock, authentication is handled entirely by iOS. The app never sees your biometric data.

Children

The app is intended for teachers, coaches, and group leaders. Rosters may include the names of minors; those names are stored only on the leader's device and are never transmitted to us or anyone else.

Deleting your data

Delete any person, session, or group in the app, use Settings → Delete all data, or simply delete the app — everything it stored goes with it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address.
